Ethics over Assets: Expectations for tomorrow's finale

Sanctions to the Australian players have clearly shown the world that CA stands by the spirit of the sport rather than their assets. The judgment clearly proved that and also taught a lesson to the cricketing world that it is the spirit of the sport that is uplifting the sport.

With all the saga that has unfolded lately. The final test that is going to start tomorrow (30th of March) will be a test of pride for the Aussies, and SA will want to win it for the big Morne and achieve the unprecedented record. The Wanderers of the Johannesburg is all set to host this battle of pride vs past.

South Africa's composition

The South-African team has a very good composition and would love to go on with the same playing eleven as the previous test. With Dean and Markram scoring all through the tournament is likely to give them a solid start once again. The only concern would be the form of Hashim Amla and number 6; the experience and the talent Amla brings to the plate is remarkable. The tenacity he holds would make us expect more from him every time he comes out to bat. Number six slot has been a concern to the Proteas lately, but with Temba Bavuma coming back to the side he should be able to cement his spot. Bowling looks at it's deadly best; all the eyes would be on the big Morne who is going to play his final test for Proteas. Let's see what he has to offer.

Australia's composition

Aussies had to go through a lot of strain both physically and mentally in past few days. With the replacements named, the composition of the team doesn't look balanced with two of their mainstays being back in their courtyard. While bowling looks formidable batting needs to step up. Newly appointed skipper Tim Paine has an insurmountable task in his hands. He needs to get the players back in their stride both physically and mentally. The camaraderie among the players needs to be lifted and trust needs to be gained back. The stain on the Aussie Cricket needs to be washed as soon as possible in order to play with proper whites.

As a senior player, Khawaja's woes against the spin needs to be rectified within a day to deliver for the team. The Marsh brothers will play a key role in their success. Matt might get a game to prove his potential. Steve Smith's shoes will be the big ones to be filled. Will Handscomb get a game tomorrow or will it be either Maxwell or Burns?

Can Marsh brothers replicate the innings they played in the last test of Ashes at Sydney?  Can Khawaja turn his fortunes around?  Is Amla's special innings just a few hours away? Only time will tell.

Tell us what's your playing eleven for tomorrow.

Stalwart of England Cricket call it quits!

As we all thought the master blaster's test record is in jeopardy by this English Stalwart, with the run of time this stalwart call it quits from the international Cricket at the age of 33- Still young enough to call it quits. We are now aware of which English player has announced his retirement lately, the reason is simple as we expect it to be so from his nature- which is always down to earth.

Carrying the English opening duties on his shoulder for 12 years and delivering in most of the cases talks about his grit and potential. England's test team without Cook's name is unseen, a record of representing a national team continuously without missing a match is held by our Cook- talks about his strength and fitness.

The legacy was incepted in 2006 when Cook has been handed his debut cap against India at Nagpur by Flintoff, he announced his arrival by scoring a brilliant century in England's second innings, from then he has cooked many innings and has become an unprecede…

Dhamaka in Delhi

Well well, if you have missed out tonight's encounter between Delhi and Hyderabad, then you have certainly missed out on some serious run feast. Winning the toss and electing to bat first, Delhi has lost couple of early wickets as Sunrisers were again spot on with their line and lengths.

However, their misery wasn't amplified as Pant took up the responsibility and annihilated the Sunrisers bowlers to every nook and corner of the park. Very seldom you find a guy like Maxwell being veiled by his partner's innings; it was the case today when Pant has out shadowed every one until something unprecedented incident took place.

Scoring his maiden century, Pant has smashed all the bowlers of SRH; known for their bowling SRH has turned the tide and chased down 188 like a boss.

At the end of first innings, it certainly looked like an uphill task for the Sunrisers. But what we have witnessed was just scintillating. SRH batsmen were all over the DD bowlers and never let the required r…

WHY AB WHY?

It was about 17:10 in the office and I was working on my PC to meet deadlines. A message popped up from a famous cricket app "Breaking News: AB de Villiers retires from International cricket" Heart missed a beat. A shocker, the man who was expected to play his last International World cup next year has left the cricketing circle. He puzzled the whole fraternity with this announcement.
Who is Ab de Villiers? He is a man known for modesty and simplicity. Did I just say a man? Nope, he is the superman of the Cricketing world. Loved all over the world irrespective of nation, this guy has taken the sport to next level and provided the fans an umpty number of memories to cherish.
No one expected this from him, Did the heartbreak in the Indian Premier League made him take this decision?  He mentioned that "he wants to play all three formats or nothing".
He also mentioned yesterday morning that how RCB is planning to win the cup next Year. What happened all of a sudden i…
