Markram's remark on Ball-Tampering

South Africa won the four-match "controversial" test series earlier this month against Australia by 3-1.

While the series completely deviated midway with the ball-tampering assertions, Markram and Rabada had good outings as the former hit two centuries and the latter was adjudged as the Man of the series for his spectacular bowling performances.

Aiden Markram in his recent interview said that the entire South African dressing room was "stunned" by this incident.

The incident took place on the day 3 of the third test at Capetown when Cameron Bancroft used a sandpaper to aid reverse swing.

Speaking on the incident Markram said "The heat of the series was obviously happening, it was the third Test match and it was a crunch game, and the next thing, the story broke out.
‘We woke up the next morning and the guys couldn’t believe what happened. It hit home overnight. On the field, there are a lot of pressures to deal with and a lot of competitive juices that get's flowing, and that’s when it’s the toughest part to try to keep it in the spirit of cricket"

Markram also said that he will keep up the spirit of the game until he represents his country in any format.

It is to be noted that Aiden Markram is the only South African captain to win Under - 19 World Cup in the year 2014 for his country.

Markram who is currently in England is all set to represent "Durham" as their overseas player for this edition of the county championship.

Tim Paine was appointed as the skipper of the Aussies in tests after Warner, Smith, and Bancroft were banned by Cricket Australia.

With a lot of controversies revolving around, it will be interesting to see how Australia face their arch-rivals England in the limited over series in the month of June.

Dhamaka in Delhi

Well well, if you have missed out tonight's encounter between Delhi and Hyderabad, then you have certainly missed out on some serious run feast. Winning the toss and electing to bat first, Delhi has lost couple of early wickets as Sunrisers were again spot on with their line and lengths.

However, their misery wasn't amplified as Pant took up the responsibility and annihilated the Sunrisers bowlers to every nook and corner of the park. Very seldom you find a guy like Maxwell being veiled by his partner's innings; it was the case today when Pant has out shadowed every one until something unprecedented incident took place.

Scoring his maiden century, Pant has smashed all the bowlers of SRH; known for their bowling SRH has turned the tide and chased down 188 like a boss.

At the end of first innings, it certainly looked like an uphill task for the Sunrisers. But what we have witnessed was just scintillating. SRH batsmen were all over the DD bowlers and never let the required r…
