Punjabi Bhangra- Entertainment factor KXIP

Ey Bale Bale Ey Bale Bale is what making the Punjabi folks groove their bodies into nowadays and no wonder the credit goes to Ashwin and Rahul. We know Ash for his judicious bowling and now we witness his shrewd way of leading the kings from Punjab, and the le' classical Rahul is showcasing his flair with the bat for the Kings

Starting off the campaign on a winning note, KXIP looked subtle and canny in their thinking and approach. Having had a set back in their second game, KXIP returned all guns blazing in their third as the universe boss set the stage on fire.

Entering the tournament with a point to prove to their fans, KXIP has made their intentions clear this season. Gayle made a comeback into the IPL in their third encounter and the stage was lightened and the entertainment was doubled.

With the return of Gayle, settled middle order and the skillful bowlers the KXIP team looks threatening this season and are likely to be in the contention for the title.

The top order looks formidable with the likes of  Rahul, Gayle, and Karun but the concern would be the veiled middle order as Finch was dismissed twice for a duck and Yuvraj isn't quite at his best and Miller being out of sorts for quite some time now.

However, all this has been completely shadowed by the fantastic opening knocks from one of the richest in this edition- Kl Rahul. Rahul smashed his quickest 50 in their first encounter of this season by scoring 51 of 16 balls and followed it up by a quickfire 47 and 37 in the next games respectively.

The bowling unit looks stable, with the spinners nibbling up for the Kings, Pacers have played their part. All in all, the Kings from Punjab have ticked most of their boxes now and will be looking to round off the middle order and be the strong contenders for this championship title.

Dhamaka in Delhi

Well well, if you have missed out tonight's encounter between Delhi and Hyderabad, then you have certainly missed out on some serious run feast. Winning the toss and electing to bat first, Delhi has lost couple of early wickets as Sunrisers were again spot on with their line and lengths.

However, their misery wasn't amplified as Pant took up the responsibility and annihilated the Sunrisers bowlers to every nook and corner of the park. Very seldom you find a guy like Maxwell being veiled by his partner's innings; it was the case today when Pant has out shadowed every one until something unprecedented incident took place.

Scoring his maiden century, Pant has smashed all the bowlers of SRH; known for their bowling SRH has turned the tide and chased down 188 like a boss.

It was about 17:10 in the office and I was working on my PC to meet deadlines. A message popped up from a famous cricket app "Breaking News: AB de Villiers retires from International cricket" Heart missed a beat. A shocker, the man who was expected to play his last International World cup next year has left the cricketing circle. He puzzled the whole fraternity with this announcement.
Who is Ab de Villiers? He is a man known for modesty and simplicity. Did I just say a man? Nope, he is the superman of the Cricketing world. Loved all over the world irrespective of nation, this guy has taken the sport to next level and provided the fans an umpty number of memories to cherish.
No one expected this from him, Did the heartbreak in the Indian Premier League made him take this decision?  He mentioned that "he wants to play all three formats or nothing".
He also mentioned yesterday morning that how RCB is planning to win the cup next Year. What happened all of a sudden i…
