With a lot of drama that has unfolded before the start of this year's IPL campaign, SRH and RR were the undoubted victims of this. However, we can say that the loss of Warner hasn't proved costly for SRH until now, but will it hold the same in coming weeks? Only time has the answer.
Sunrisers from Hyderabad made a solid start in this year's tournament by winning three out of their three encounters. Knocking out the opponents with their bowling has been their key to success. While bowlers continously stepped up and did it for the team the onus now lies on the batsman to show their strength.
Picking up 25 wickets in their three encounters has been the talking point in this edition of IPL until now; however, SRH would like to turn their table around and show what they have got with the bat.
Succumbing to the pressure and some good bowling from MI, SRH crossed the line with only one wicket and of the last ball in their second encounter. With a lot of talks about their bowling strength, SRH would definitely like to make a point with their willows in tonight's encounter against KXIP.
With Shikar Dhawan in the rich vein of form will be their key to success with the bat. Saha needs to step up on the throttle and give SRH a solid start. Kane would like to go about his things in the perfect manner as he always does.
Manish Pandey the richest of this franchise would like his willow to do the talking as he hasn't lived up to the fans expectations until now; with Shakib, Hooda, and Pathan to follow, SRH looks a formidable batting unit, but these middle order players need to stand up and show their will and grit to the world by knocking some quickfire runs.
However, it would be interesting to see how SRH goes about with the things when they are put into bat first. Until now they have won all their matches by chasing. But, if the top order and middle order thumps, there is no stopping the orange army's carnage with the bat and they can be rest assured with the result as they have got an impeccable bowling line up.
So, will the bowling impetus makes the night for SRH or will it be a batsman's miracle?
