Youth is the strength- Youthful entertainers of IPL 2018

Indian Premier League has been a platform for many youngsters to demonstrate their talent and draw the eyeballs of the spectators and the selectors. Let alone Indians, even the Foreign players utilize this platform,  the classic example is of Shane Watson in the year 2008.

This edition of IPL has only strengthened that recital by introducing many gems to the spectators.

The list goes this way:

1. Mayank Markande

This youngster has started spinning his web around the batsmen right from the first match, the oppositions weren't having any answers to his googlies, thereby making him a genuine prospect for the team India

Mayank was a part of 2016 Under - 19 world Cup squad led by Ishan Kishan. His recent domestic performances for Punjab has paved the way into Mumbai squad. Thereby providing him a platform to demonstrate his skills.

He is in contention for the purple cap this season with 11 wickets until now and it will be interesting to see his contributions going forward.

2. Prithvi Shaw

The Under 19 winning captain started to make an impact right from his first match. In his debut innings, he scored a quickfire 22 of 10 deliveries but wasn't able to capitalize on it.

He announced his arrival in style in his very second match by scoring a solid 62 of 44 deliveries becoming the joint youngest player to hit a maiden IPL fifty.

He hit  Mitchell Johnson to every corner of the stadium unleashing his potential; Delhi franchise will be expecting few more blitzes from him for their success in this season, which looks quite murky.

3. Deepak Chahar

Known for bringing out a new medium pacer, CSK has found the replacement for their predecessors like Mohit Sharma, Ishwar Pandey.

This right-arm medium pacer from Agra has featured in seven matches for Chennai Super Kings in their quota of 8. The 25-year-old lad has been the first choice of Dhoni in the powerplays as he has given them crucial breakthroughs.

Picking up six wickets at a considerable economy in all the high scoring encounters of CSK shows his potential with the new ball. However, Chahar will be out for a couple of weeks due to a hamstring injury, but a speedy recovery may see him as one of the finest pacers in this edition of the cash-rich league.

4. Ishan Kishan
Another youngster from the Mumbai squad demonstrating his skills at this big stage.

The 2016 U-19 captain made his entry into the IPL in 2016 when he was bought by Gujarat Lions. Albeit he was given Limited chances, yet he proved his ability to hit in the lower middle order.

Ishan has now scored 176 runs at a strike rate close to 140 for Mumbai and his sharp wicket keeping skills also proved to be worthy. The faint Mumbai of this season will be investing a lot of trust in him for their entry into playoffs.

5.Ankit Rajpoot

Probably one of the most underrated Uncapped player in this edition. Ankit has been ruthless with his approach in both the powerplays and the death overs, Bagging two Man of the Match awards out of the 4 he featured in, justifies his skills with the ball.

He represented Kolkata Knight Riders in the past but his contributions weren't quite substantial. He has now bagged 7 wickets in this edition and is ready for bagging more.

He also registered the best figures by an Uncapped player- 5/14 against Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Ashwin will be trying to get the best out of him to guarantee them a birth in the playoffs.

Substantial Delhi Daredevils

The team which has seen a lot of ups and downs in terms of their core stability is Delhi Daredevils. With the likes of Sehwag, Gambhir, Nehra, and Mishra, Delhi started off their campaign in 2008 as one of the favorites to win the championship. However, they just fell short of a couple of steps to clinch the title.

To further strengthen the things next year, Delhi signs in Dirk Nannes the quicky from Australia. Under the leadership of Gambhir DD topped the table and yet again dropped short of their maiden championship title.

From 2010 until 2017, Delhi has faced a lot of criticism for not performing up to their standards. Reaching playoffs only once in a span of 8 years is a record that needs to be flushed down the gutter. 2012, was one of their successful seasons among the last eight, thanks to the likes of Kevin Pietersen, Mahela Jayawardena, and Ross Taylor.

With Delhi having a capricious core, it was all up to the management to establish a steady and a solid core; and they have …

Ethics over Assets: Expectations for tomorrow's finale

Sanctions to the Australian players have clearly shown the world that CA stands by the spirit of the sport rather than their assets. The judgment clearly proved that and also taught a lesson to the cricketing world that it is the spirit of the sport that is uplifting the sport.

With all the saga that has unfolded lately. The final test that is going to start tomorrow (30th of March) will be a test of pride for the Aussies, and SA will want to win it for the big Morne and achieve the unprecedented record. The Wanderers of the Johannesburg is all set to host this battle of pride vs past.
South Africa's composition

The South-African team has a very good composition and would love to go on with the same playing eleven as the previous test. With Dean and Markram scoring all through the tournament is likely to give them a solid start once again. The only concern would be the form of Hashim Amla and number 6; the experience and the talent Amla brings to the plate is remarkable. The tena…
